ABOUT THE EVENT
The Rooster Roundup is a food fundraiser to support Team Buche Cares in their efforts to address food insecurity among tribal and rural populations throughout South Dakota. This one day guided pheasant hunt at Cock Block Lodge in Dallas, South Dakota will be an incredible opportunity to not only take part in a South Dakota tradition, but to make an impact on our neighbors.

The hunt will take place on the afternoon of October 7, with the VIP experience taking place on the evening of October 8, 2026. Lunch and dinner will be provided with a brief program, live auction and raffle drawing taking place at the end of the hunt.
YOUR EVENT HOSTS
Team Buche Cares is the charitable arm of G.F. Buche Co. Team Buche Cares aims to provide healthy and nutritious meals to families in South Dakota, especially the children and elders in our rural and tribal communities. Team Buche Cares’ reach covers much of South Dakota and all nine tribal reservations throughout the state.
Our annual events like Steelers in the Field and The Rooster Roundup have provided critical funding for these communities and helped to provide holiday meals to families who might not otherwise have one. Since 2024, these events have allowed Team Buche Cares to serve nearly 500,000 meals throughout the state during the holidays and by providing access to Emergency SNAP Gift Cards to 2,900 households during the 2025 government shutdown.
Team Buche Cares understands their ability to make an impact on thousands of families and are motivated by the positive health outcomes this funding can provide to the communities where our team lives and works.
